Metamorphoses written and directed by Mary Zimmerman

What does it mean to be human? How do we understand our place in the world? What does it mean to change truly? These are the questions posed in this sensational, Tony-winning play. Taking inspiration from Ovid’s famous tales, Mary Zimmerman adapts ancient myths into modern-day stories using contemporary language, delightful humor, and breathtaking moments of sincerity. Metamorphoses are filled with theatrical magic and promise epic stories that change everything, perhaps even you.

As an actor in this production, I find myself immersed in a project that demands physical comedy and movement to convey emotions. I am entrusted with narrating two captivating love stories. Under Barrie Gelles' direction, Metamorphoses has given me a unique opportunity to express myself through the body's language in motion.  This experience has rekindled a passion within me that I had long forgotten.
